Processing your service enquiry and referring your contact information and requirements to relevant Hong Kong service providers to provide quotations or follow-up. This is the primary purpose of submitting an enquiry form and the core function of our matching service.
2.2 Referring Data to Service Providers
With your consent, we will refer your enquiry data to one to three Hong Kong service providers relevant to your service requirements. Providers may only use your data to respond to your specific enquiry. We will not sell raw data to third parties for marketing or other unrelated purposes.
2.3 Improving Website Services
Analyzing usage data to improve user experience, content quality, and accuracy of price information.
2.4 Compliance and Legal Purposes
Disclosing data as required by law, or to protect our legitimate interests in legal proceedings.
3. Third Party Data Transfer
By submitting a quote request form and checking the consent declaration, you expressly consent to HKHowMuch.com transferring your personal data to relevant Hong Kong service providers (third parties). HKHowMuch.com may charge service providers a referral fee for successful introductions.
3.1 Referral Process
- You complete the enquiry form and check the consent declaration
- HKHowMuch.com reviews your enquiry and matches suitable service providers
- Your name, phone number, service requirements and budget range are referred to one to three relevant service providers
- Service providers contact you directly to provide quotations or further information
- HKHowMuch.com may receive a referral fee from service providers (paid by providers, not affecting your quoted prices)
3.2 What We Do Not Do
- ✗ Will not sell raw data to third parties for marketing
- ✗ Will not transfer data to parties unrelated to your enquiry
- ✗ Will not use your data for direct marketing without consent
- ✗ Will not transfer data outside Hong Kong (unless separately notified)
3.3 Service Provider Accountability
We require all service providers receiving your data to comply with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, use data only for quotation purposes, and protect your personal data appropriately.

5. Your Rights (PDPO Principle 6)
Under Principle 6 and related provisions of the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, you have the following rights:
5.1 Right of Access (Section 18)
You have the right to access personal data we hold about you and request copies. We must respond within 40 days. A reasonable fee may be charged for providing copies.
5.2 Right of Correction (Section 22)
If you believe personal data we hold is inaccurate or incomplete, you have the right to request correction. We must take action within 40 days.
5.3 Right to Deletion
You may request deletion of your personal data. We will process your request as soon as possible within the limits of our legal retention obligations. In general, deletion will be completed within 30 days of receipt.
